On the 17th November Prof Jaki delivered a keynote presentation at the Australian Clincal Trials and Registries Symposium on "Evaluating (AI) algorithms for use in healthcare". The talk focused on highlighting open challenges, in particular around the dynamic nature of algorithms, which led to good discussions afterward.

Later in the conference he also contributed to the debate on: Is AI transforming trials in the future. Having teams argue for and against (Prof Jaki was on the "for" side) led to fun and engaging discussion and gave plenty of food for thought.
